Jordan Lake - Paradise Found

One of North Carolina's hidden gems is Jordan Lake.  Located in Chatham County and close to many of the communities I specialize in - Jordan Lake is a water enthusiast's dream! Over 14,000 acres of water and natural recreation - all within minutes from your front door.

The N.C. Division of Parks and Recreations operates nine recreation areas on the lake — Crosswinds Campground, Ebenezer Church, Parker's Creek, Poplar Point, Seaforth, Vista Point, Robeson Creek, New Hope Overlook, and White Oak Recreation Area. Whether you're looking for fun in the sun or an evening under the stars, Jordan Lake offers it all.

Whether you enjoy sailing or a thrilling powerboat ride, canoeing, windsailing, or a quiet evening of fishing as the sun sets - there is something for everyone at Jordan Lake.  Many of the area residents consider Jordan Lake to be one of the greatest amenities in the RTP area.  Contact Yvonne Beal today to see how living close to Jordan Lake can make every day feel like a vacation!
Jordan Lake State Recreation Area is one of the largest summertime homes of the bald eagle, the symbol of the United States for more than 200 years. The population of eagles in the Jordan Lake area has increased dramatically since the flooding of the reservoir in 1983.

Vast, undisturbed areas provide the perfect home for the bald eagle; there's plenty of fish to eat and a mature forest for roosting. Although protection efforts have increased the numbers of this mighty bird, it still remains a protected species. Interpretive programs about the bald eagle are conducted throughout the year at Jordan Lake.
